Hadley Group Announces Plans to Take ‘Miss messy’ on the Road

A new way to experience messy play

Today, Hadley Group is excited to announce the next step for Miss Messy, as we begin developing Miss Messy into a travelling event experience.

Miss Messy was created to give children the freedom to explore, create, play, and make a mess in a space where mess is not only allowed, but encouraged. From paint and sensory play to hands-on creative activities, Miss Messy has always been about giving children the chance to enjoy the kind of play that is often difficult to do at home.

As we look to the future, we believe there is an opportunity to bring that experience to more families, more communities, and more locations.

Rather than being limited to one physical space, our vision is to develop Miss Messy into a travelling event that can pop up in different venues, parks, halls, and community spaces. These events will be designed to create fun, memorable, and interactive experiences for children and families, while keeping the setup practical, affordable, and flexible.

The first concept being explored is a Miss Messy Paint Party. This would give children the chance to paint, splash, decorate, and create in a safe, controlled event environment. From paint zones and creative stations to larger shared objects and themed areas, the aim is to create an experience that feels exciting, different, and full of energy.

Our goal is to build events that are simple, fun, and accessible, while still delivering something families will remember. We want Miss Messy to become more than an activity. We want it to become an experience children talk about long after the paint has dried.

As we begin developing this next stage, we will be exploring venues, event formats, partnerships, and future locations. More details will be shared as planning continues.

Miss Messy started with a simple idea: children should be free to play, explore, and get messy. Now, we are excited to start taking that idea on the road.
