Our Story
Approaching our 10 year anniversay in 2026, Hadley Group is set for a reset, getting back to where we started. More events, more entertainment. Stay tuned for the next decade of the business.
Time for a reset
For our 10th Anniversary, it's time for a reset back to what started it all - events and entertainment. We're refocusing and gearing up to launch some exciting new concepts. Miss Messy will stick around in a new setting, offering fun events for children at a range of locations.
Things get messy
Hadley Group finally launched a long-awaited idea named Miss Messy - a small sensory play studio for children. We welcomed hundreds of guests from around the Wellington to enjoy getting messy with all sorts of supplies.
Performance Parts
After a few idle years for Hadley Group, plus the Covid period, we helped launch a Speedway motorsport parts business named Cheqs Peformance. This was seperated out in 2025 to its own company, with Hadley Group holding a third stake. Specialising in service parts, the brand will look to grow in years to come.
Goodbye to Dirt Track
After a couple of great years running NZ Dirt Track Magazine, a buyer was found to take over the magazine, enjoying the improvements to the content, production and promotion in place.
Magazine & More
Learning plenty about digital marketing with our series, we were asked to help out a local venue by organising and growing their social media profile. This grew into managing services for a couple of companies. On top of this, we purchased the long standing NZ Dirt Track Racing Magazine, taking over the monthly production in April. On sale at 500 plus locations, this added perfectly to our motorsport business of the time.
A Superstar Start
Hadley Group was officially formed on the 15th June 2016 under the name Oval Superstars Ltd. At the time, we were organising a motorsport series named the Oval Superstars Tour and needed to make things more official.
